On Conexión on Avanza 88.3, Engagement Producer Carina Linares sat down with Carlos Toledo, Member Engagement Manager at the Utah LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, to discuss how the organization empowers inclusive economic growth across Utah.
“The Chamber is a nonprofit, and we really focus on advancing the equity and inclusion and just economic growth and power for the LGBTQ+ community,” Toledo said.
“Let's make the community's dreams happen … that means getting jobs and, you know, making money.”
He shared how the Chamber’s programs help turn that vision into action.
“We offer different business development programs, such as Safe Zone inclusivity training in the workforce … and our Third Thursday Breakfast—a great networking opportunity that brings 70 to 100 people every month.”
