On Conexión with Edgar Zúñiga, Kathleen Bodenlos, CEO of Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum, shared what makes the museum unique for Utah families.
“We’re a gateway for children to learn about all the museums they might experience in their lifetime,” Bodenlos said. “Everything is interactive and kid-sized. Kids just love it.”
Bodenlos highlighted the museum’s newest attractions: “Our 3,000-square-foot model train exhibit is massive and beautiful, it blends engineering and art. And our dinosaur exhibit, kids can dig for fossils and see real bones up close. It sparks imagination.” The museum's CEO also said that kids are not only playing, but they're also "learning problem-solving, cause and effect, sorting skills... all happening while they have a blast.”
The museum is also committed to inclusivity and access. The museum has bilingual staff and materials and also families who receive public assistance can visit the museum for just $3 per person.

Edgar also spoke with Ariana Yáñez, Assistant Director of Operations in Spanish.
