However you celebrate, we hope this season brings you warmth, connection, and moments to rest and recharge.
Avanza 88.3 exists because of you. Your listening, sharing, and support have helped shape a true community platform... a space for music, culture, information, and belonging. And we’re just getting started.
We're excited to share that Punto de Encuentro premieres January 6, a new weekly Spanish-language interview show hosted by respected local journalist Pablo Tellechea.
Each episode features thoughtful conversations about the people, stories, and issues shaping life in Utah, with context, care, and depth. This show marks an important step forward in Avanza’s commitment to local journalism, civic dialogue, and bilingual storytelling.
You’ll also be hearing more local DJ hours on Avanza, including:
- Un Abrazo with DJ Sonia López: soulful Latin sounds paired with community-centered conversations
- Sal y Sabor with DJ Causita (Andrea Ramos Campos): vibrant, high-energy mixes celebrating rhythm, culture, and alegría
Next year, you can expect:
